Platform Requirements
LeapSeed 6.0 requires the following software:
- Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 or Windows 2003/2008
- Internet Information Services 6.0 or Higher
- ASP.NET 4.0
- Indexing Service (Windows XP / 2003) or Windows Search 4.0 (Windows Vista / 7 / 2008)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 (Express or Higher)
For coding on the LeapSeed platform, Visual Studio 2010 (Express or higher) is recommended for newcomers, due to its Intellisense capability. Simply use the "Open Web Site..." option in Visual Studio 2010.
No development or configuration activity in LeapSeed requires Visual Studio however; any text editor can be utilized.
