SharePoint Integration Kit
Do you like the n-tier data managment capabilities of Data Manager, but are currently standardized on Microsoft SharePoint? LeapSeed 6.0 ships with a SharePoint Integration Kit that allows you to embed LeapSeed 6.0 into the SharePoint Web Page web part.
Visual Design Alteration
If a SharePoint indicator is passed via the querystring into LeapSeed, then its standard visual design will be replaced with a minimal border that includes the necessary JavaScript references for LeapSeed to operate. To the end-user, the displayed LeapSeed 6.0 toolset will look like its directly part of the SharePoint page.
LeapSeed 6.0 can be integrated into a vertically-large Web Page web part if it is not desired for scroll bars to be visible. In this instance, a navigation detector is activated to have the SharePoint site scroll to the top automatically whenever navigation within the LeapSeed 6.0 web part occurs, insuring the user will always see the top of the next LeapSeed 6.0 page as it loads.
Authentication Options
It is recommended that LeapSeed 6.0 be used with Windows Authentication and browsers that are set to trust the LeapSeed 6.0 site as an intranet portal. Under this configuration, duplicate login popups asking for Windows Authentication information will not appear.
LeapSeed 6.0 also ships with a Group Key authentication option for internal intranet sites among trusted team members. This option does not require that LeapSeed 6.0 be running under group authentication.
